Going into a COVID-19 quarantine centre/hospital with pre-existing medical conditions can result in a lot of worry and stress for the patient and their families. It is important to inform the in-house doctor about any pre-existing conditions and carry medical records and prescriptions as well as medication needed for the duration of stay, along with other essentials. This can help us feel more prepared and receive the right care and medication that is required.
What to pack in your quarantine bag: If you have any pre-existing medical conditions
1.Clinic books/medical records
2. Paracetamol in case of a sudden illness
3. Prescriptions
4. Medical aids, depending on your needs eg: inhalers, knee guards
5. If you are on long term medication, take enough for your stay plus an extra couple of days
6. Allergy medication ( if any)
