The Mano.LK website features publicly accessible content that has been shared by a range of credible institutions and sources. Mano.LK does not own this material, but follows a process to identify, select, screen and post materials that are relevant.
Mano.LK is primarily a curator and distributor of content and does not claim ownership of or rights over of any third-party content published on its the website or social media pages. Content published on Mano.LK is screened for accuracy, relevance and reliability of only the material shared via the platform, and does not imply Mano.LK’s endorsement of the organisation or individual that produced or provided the content nor any other content developed or shared by the same. It is beyond the scope of Mano.LK to screen and verify the credentials or histories of all content creators or Content Partners, so users are advised to evaluate these independently. Similarly, failure to include content on Mano.LK does not necessarily imply a ejection or criticism of that specific content or its creator(s).
Some content may be sensitive and/or inappropriate for children of certain ages, so therefore, user discretion is advised. Mano.LK will do its best to flag materials that may require special consideration. We encourage users to report any content of concern to the Mano.LK team.
Mano.LK relies on the important work done by other institutions and groups to create reliable and helpful resources for the public, as it seeks to make them more widely accessed and used. The contributions of partners and collaborators are especially important, as they provide Mano.LK with content and also provide in-kind assistance and resources to develop and maintain the platform. This helps Mano.LK support people in Sri Lanka to protect and improve the wellbeing of our families, our communities and ourselves.
Mano.LK is supported by a team that manages the website, collaborates with partners, and sources, reviews and prepares content for the Manos.
